Maria Hering is a German singer, actress, fitness model, reality-TV star, and social media star, best known as a contestant on the 8th season of the reality-TV series Promi Big Brother (2017) from which she quickly eliminated. She appeared as ‘Herself’ on the music talent show, Deutschland sucht den Superstar (Germany’s Looking For A Superstar) in 2010, which was a part of the Idol TV franchise that aired across the globe. She then made an appearance on the television movie Die Jagd nach der heiligen Lanze (Spear of Destiny/The hunt for the Holy Lance) the same year, in the role of Sandra. Maria also made an appearance as ‘Herself’ on the news, talk-show Taff on 2 occasions, in 2015 and 2017, after she moved to the United States with her then-boyfriend, Bastian Gillmeier, in December 2014.
